Update

IN ceramics for the past week i have been trying to learn how to properly use the wheel thrower. It is hard and challenging trying to center the clay and keep it from sliding off. I was a little bit to forceful, i blame it on my muscles. But after two days of trying to center i finally got it on the third day. Now comes the bigger challenge... Trying to make something and not botch it up.

My inital idea came from a show called darker than black.
I started out with just a slab then I just molded it. To keep its round face like shape i balled paper and wrapped it. The colors that i used were all underglaze, for the mouth and around the eyes i used light red. I used white for the base of the face, the blue part was medium blue.
Overall i am happy with it but i wish i knew more about clay before i hoped right in to it. If i had a second chance i would smothenn it out and make sure everything is even.
